About

Danilo Andrés is a dancer/choreographer and visual artist based in Berlin. Their work in visual, sonic and performance art has always been interrelated by incorporating multiple forms of media such as sculptural headpieces, costumes, and video.

Since 2014, they has collaborated with artistic institutions in Berlin including Akademie der Künste and Neuköllner Oper, along with their work as a solo performer/dancer in cooperation with other choreographers like Minako Seki, Felix Ruckert (Schwelle7) and Okwui Okpokwasili ( Berlin Biennale 2018 at KW Institut for Contemporary Art ).

In 2019 they has worked as dancer/performer for the queer artist Peaches, a production of Sommerfestival Kampnagel Hamburg and Volsbühne Berlin. Most recently in 2023 they has presented their Solo Installation BICHO RARO in Sophiensaele Berlin ( Tanztage Festival ) curated my Mateusz Szymanówka. They creates mainly solo pieces and uses their multidimensional skills as a visual artist, performer and choreographer to research about the development of the body in queer context.
